Senior Pastor

John Donnerberg was born in St.Marys, Ohio. He graduated from Mt.Vernon Nazarene University in 1978. He has a Masters in Bible and Ministry from Lubbock Christian University. He married Karen Blankenship in 1977, and has two grown daughters. John has served as sr. pastor of three churches during the last thirty years. He also traveled for four years doing revivals and conferences before beginning his service at First Nazarene in Amarillo. John's passion is to see the church come alive and witness the powerful gospel at work transforming hearts and lives. John enjoys reading, playing basketball, riding his motorcylce, and spending time with family.

PrimeTimer’s/Hospital-Shut-in Care

Ron has served as Minister to Senior Adults since 2007. His responsibilities include overseeing members that are hospitalized, rehab & shut-in’s. He also has a monthly activity for the Primetime group including a weekly 5pm service on Sunday afternoon. Ron has been a pastor for 29 years in Kansas, Nebraska, Arizona and West Texas. He is a graduate of Nazarene Bible College and Mid America Nazarene University. He was ordained in 1982. Ron and his wife, Deanna, have three daughters and three grandchildren

Youth Ministry

Chase was born and raised in Amarillo, Tx. He and his amazing wife Sydney were married in 2007. Together they passionately minister to the teens in the Amarillo area. Chase's heart is to see teenagers come to love Jesus and to develop an authentic relationship with Him. Chase is always available to talk and hang out. His hobbies include but are not limited to golf, disc golf,snowboarding, guitar, fly fishing, video games, taking naps, watching the History Channel, reading, doing yard work, rappelling, eating Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream, Twittering, guessing the next big Apple device, and most importantly loving Jesus and hanging out with his wife Sydney.

Children's Ministry

Carol has served in church ministry for eighteen years. Most of those years have been in children's ministry. She has a passion to share Jesus with others. She is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. Carol is married to Eddie and they have six children.
